The art of early baroque was full of contrasts and sometimes exaggerated emotions. In this solo harpsichord recital, Pawel Siwczak presents exuberant works by Girolamo Frescobaldi, Henry Purcell, John Blow, Nicolaus Bruhns, Johann Jakob Froberger, Georg Bohm and Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck.
The Cello Factory is a wonderful private space and art gallery. This recital is in conjuction with an exhibition of works by the UK’s longest-running and most prestigious artists’ collective, The London Group (The London Group Open, Part 1).
